TASN Coordination Project

Through regular and ongoing communication with KSDE Special Education and Title Services (SETS) Leadership, the TASN Coordination Project provides leadership, daily guidance and support to all projects. Coordination Project staff ensures alignment with KSDE SETS priorities and vision so that districts receive a consistent and clear message from KSDE. Coordination Project staff work closely with the TASN Evaluation Project to:

• Monitor progress and effectiveness of TASN
• Suppport providers in achieving expectations
• Identify system components that need support/improvement
• Identify and take advantage of leverage points to improve supports and effectiveness
• Support capacity of the TASN system
• Organize KSDE Summer Leadership Conference & Kansas MTSS and Alignment Symposium
• Provide support to KSDE SETS in the development of resources & in federal reporting
• Provide support to districts on issues of special education compliance
