Trauma-Responsive School Communities (TRSC)

Description: A trauma-responsive school community is trauma-informed and trauma-responsive principles are evident in daily functioning, practices, and culture, even extending beyond the school to the school community.

TRAUMA-RESPONSIVE SCHOOL COMMUNITY TRAINING

  • Description: The Trauma-Responsive School Community eLearning Modules may be used by school communities seeking to understand and implement trauma-responsive practices.
  • Intended Audience: 
    • Modules: Any adult member of the school community (i.e., administrators, teachers, paras, volunteers, transportation, food service, any community agency staff)
  • Format: eLearning Modules with Facilitation Guide
  • Link: Via Moodle (create a free account to enroll).

TRAUMA, TOXIC STRESS, AND CAREGIVER WELL-BEING: PRACTICES FOR FOSTERING RESILIENCE IN CHILDREN/YOUTH AND CAREGIVERS

  • Description: The Trauma, Toxic Stress, and Caregiver Well-Being training may be used by school communities seeking to share information on trauma, toxic stress, and well-being with caregivers.
  • Intended Audience: Any adult member of the school community (i.e., parents, administrators, teachers, paras, volunteers, transportation, food service, any community agency staff)
