Description:
To implement trauma-responsive school mental health practices capable of producing meaningful outcomes, leaders create an enabling context through an Implementation Team, including leaders and coaches, who meet regularly to examine existing school mental health structures, processes, and training needs.
Using refinements from Kansas district leaders, principles of implementation science, and guidance from local and national experts, the TASN School Mental Health Initiative provides professional development and ongoing coaching to build capacity of local, in-house coaches (designated by their leaders) to effectively facilitate Implementation Team meetings and lead active implementation of evidence-based school mental health practices.
