Description:
To implement trauma-responsive school mental health practices capable of producing meaningful outcomes, leaders create an enabling context through the formation of a District-Community Leadership Team (DCLT), who meets to examine existing school mental health structures, processes, and training needs. The TASN School Mental Health Initiative provides professional development and ongoing coaching to build capacity of local, in-house coaches (designated by their building, district, or agency leaders) to effectively facilitate DCLT meetings and lead active implementation of evidence-based school mental health practices.
