Universal Design for Learning PLC

The Access for All project is focused on training district teams on the scientifically based Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to create more inclusive classrooms.  Teams can participate in the interactive Professional Learning Community (PLC), UDL book studies, professional development opportunities and coaching for the commitment year.

The participating district commits to:

  • Create and develop a team committed to learning about and integrating the UDL Framework
  • Participate in at least one monthly learning opportunities
  • Meet with UDL coaches at least once per quarter
  • Gather and report data 
  • Reflect on growth and share successes

 

The UDL Project commits to:

  • Support teams in setting UDL goals, provide resources, and on site coaching
  • Support strategic planning and sustainability for UDL implementation
  • Host an interactive professional learning community (PLC) of participants from districts across the state to promote reflection, collaboration and mentorship
  • Provide professional learning opportunities such as on site PL, national speakers, Practitioner’s Conference, etc.
  • Provide technology consultation and collaboration with the agency technology department
