Process for Applying for the Project

Process for Applying for Funding through the Project:

1. Choose the certification you are seeking (TSVI and/or COMS)

2. Locate a school district that is currently seeking a TSVI and/or COMS

   • Reach out to program staff for additional help to locate a school district in Kansas that is currently seeking a TSVI and/or COMS

3. Apply to the school district for the position as a TSVI/COMS

   • Please note: In order to receive TASN funding, you will need the signature of a special education director who is willing to hire you full time as a TSVI and/or COMS after the completion of your training program. Please be in contact with your administrator(s) to let them know of your intent to pursue this training. 

4. Decide which university you would like to attend.

5. Apply to the univsersity

6. Complete the Kansas Application for TASN TSVI/COMS Reimbursement Contract to receive the reimburse funds through the project
