Archived Webinar Description

Are you ready for help with data collection that doesn’t just involve someone telling you that you need it? Or worse, telling you the data collected ISN’T what you need?

This session will help determine what type of data you really need to make decisions and share ways you can set up systems that make data collection easier and usable.

Finally, we will make sure to cover what we do with the data once it’s collected—how to analyze and give it meaning. Data tools, strategies, and ideas to simplify data collection and make it functional will be shared throughout.

Learner Objectives

After attending this webinar, participants will:

  • Identify 2 specific types of data sheets for instructional data that can be used to limit the time it takes to analyze the data.
  • Identify 2 methods of taking data that can be integrated together to address most of the instructional data needs in many special education classrooms.
  • Discuss the considerations of when to take different types of data (e.g., sample data, trial-by-trial data) and how to decide which is the best choice.
  • Access and use a tool for tracking and analyzing instructional data easily for instructional decisions.
