The Co-Teaching and Coaching project strand is a part of the Kansas Inclusive Learning and Teaching (KILT) project by Infinitec. The Co-Teaching and Coaching project strand supports schools and districts across Kansas in implementing effective, sustainable co-teaching and coaching practices that promote inclusive learning environments for all students.
Grounded in evidence-based co-teaching research and high leverage instructional practices, the project equips educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources to personalize learning, strengthen collaborative teaching partnerships, and improve outcomes for diverse learners.
The Co-Teaching and Coaching project strand engages in a year-long professional learning experience that includes comprehensive training, on-site classroom observations, instructional coaching, and implementation support for participating districts. By partnering with districts throughout the implementation process, the project empowers educators to develop sustainable co-teaching practices, strengthen collaboration, and create inclusive classrooms where all students can thrive.
