Course description
Please join the Kansas State Department of Education Division of Learning Services in delving below the tip of the I.C.E.berg at the 2015 Impact Institutes. The institutes will focus on Academic, Cognitive, Technical and Employability (ACTE) strategies for impacting instruction for all PreK-12 learners, across all content areas.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their current teaching practices, choose sessions that will move their professional learning forward, engage in focused conversations around effective practice, and collaborate with a cohort of peer educators. Lastly, participants will create a personal Impact Plan with actions that the educator plans to use in their future teaching practices to impact all learners.
By the end of each Institute, participants will return to their buildings with collaboratively developed ideas for teaching diverse learners and a renewed passion for teaching the youth of Kansas.
Audience: Classroom Teachers; Instructional Coaches; School Counselors; Curriculum Directors; and Administrators
