My Breath and Me - Nervous System Regulation Tools Video (Middle and High School)

In recognition of the need for evidence-based, universal, trauma-responsive practices that support the complete physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of children, youth, staff, and caregivers, the TASN School Mental Health Initiative has partnered with The School Wellness Project to develop an online video series introducing practices that can be: a) instructionally embedded, and b) accessible to all.

This 22-minute video explores the following:

  • Identify how changing the breath can impact feeling and experience.
  • Introduction to the language of the protective brain/thoughtful brain.

Please Note: This video may include the language “mindfulness” and “yoga”. These practices are also known as nervous system regulation practices.
