On average, paraprofessionals make up 12% of all school personnel. Are your paraprofessionals equipped with the skills necessary to make the biggest difference? During this webinar, teachers and related service providers will learn strategies for effective communication and providing feedback to their paraprofessionals. These strategies will ultimately lead to improved instruction, prompting, and support for students, and in turn leading to higher outcomes for students.

Lindy McDaniel, M.S. Ed., is a consultant and coach for special education teachers who serve students with significant challenges. She has a master’s degree in Adaptive Special Education preschool through 12th grade. Her creativity and innovation have helped teachers across the country create more effective classroom spaces that support students in becoming independent and successful. The passion she shares with her field empowers teams of teachers, parents, paraprofessionals and special service providers to work collaboratively using a student-first approach. Her student first approach has transformed her local special education cooperative in such a way that it has been recognized at the state and national levels. She shares her work through the Considerate Classroom Facebook page and blog.
