SMHI Webinar: The Interconnected Systems Framework: Integrating Mental Health through Multi‐Tiered systems of Positive Behavior Support

OVERVIEW

This webinar will describe the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) for direct integration of mental health and other community providers through multi-tiered school-based teams to help design and deliver an expanded continuum of interventions from prevention through intensive interventions.  Examples of ISF in action, including examples of integrating trauma-informed care through a multi-tiered system of support will be shared.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  1. Participants will learn how school-wide systems of positive behavior support can serve as a framework for an expanded continuum of mental health interventions.
  2. Participants will learn strategies for effectively integrating community and school-based mental health providers for an expanded system of behavioral health support.
  3. Participants will become familiar with tools to guide the development and implementation of an Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF) to effectively expand school-based systems of behavior and mental health support.
