This two-part series presented by Randy Ewart, M.A., will provide information on math instruction for students with autism. Ideas and strategies will be presented at all learning levels.

Part 1: Task Analysis for Math Topics: Math can be difficult for students with autism. Using his expertise in math instruction, Randy will apply a formal process of task analysis to math concepts. He will share strategies for identifying valid learning objectives, breaking them into small parts, and then using task analysis as an assessment tool.

Learner Objectives:

After viewing this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Break a math objective into a list of component steps using a formal task analysis process
  • Use the task analysis to assess mastery of the respective math objective
