Special Education Administrator Policy to Practice Session #1 (Virtual)

Course description

Formerly known as the Quarterlies, these sessions are designed specifically for special education administrators early in their position (3 or less years) and all are welcome to join. These sessions provide an opportunity for special education administrators to review KSDE guidance that guides local policies, procedures and how they appear in practice within your agency. No new guidance is provided during these sessions, only existing KSDE guidance will be reference to guide activities and discussions.

Meet KSDE Special Education staff that you will reach out to regularly.
An overview of additional support opportunities provided by KSDE for special education administrators.

Learning Objectives

Review and application of timely special education requirements
Provide opportunities for increased capacity for special education leaders
Build collaboration and coordination within special education leadership

Refund Policy

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
