Course description

Participants will learn four self-efficacy strategies, how to teach those strategies to educators, and how to support educators in teaching self-efficacy using competency coaching techniques.  The strategies participants will explore are focus on my effort, accept feedback, and learn from my mistakes, and say, “I haven’t learned ___ yet.” Administrators, teachers, counselors, and other support staff in grades K–12 are encouraged to participate in this interactive training where they will learn four self-efficacy strategies and practice coaching techniques that will increase educators’ capacity for developing students’ persistence and resiliency.

Learning Objectives


After completing the training, educators will be able to:

  1. Teach four self-efficacy strategies and explain how they build students’ confidence and resilience,
  2. Describe six competency coaching behaviors and how they improve educators’ capacity for teaching self-efficacy and
  3. Articulate how to structure competency coaching conversations.

Participants will earn 9 CEUs which are accepted by KSDE and the Kansas BSRB.

Refund Policy

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
