Course description

Strategic Writing Instruction, part of the Strategic Instruction Modelâ„¢ (SIM), is one of the leading evidence-based programs in the country designed to help educators teach students how to write. At a time when Common Core State Standards, most state standards, minimal competency exams, and college entrance exams require students to write at a high level of competence, Strategic Writing Instruction has been shown to enable educators to help students meet those standards and achieve high levels of success. This institute will help districts adopt Strategic Writing Instruction for their students. More information on the registration website.
