CAPS System Training


August 30, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm

This training is for Special Education Directors and data entry staff for the Categorical Aid Personnel System.

KSDE will provide training to agency clerical staff and persons that are designated to sign off for each personnel report upload on the Categorical Aid Personnel System.  Trainings will be 1/2 day and participants are asked to bring a laptop computer to the training for active participation.

Learning Objectives

This training will provide a hands-on opportunity for the CAPS clerks/directors to practice all system components of creating positions, assigning staff to positions, recording para inservice, trouble-shooting errors, and meeting the timely and accurate data input for all CAPS uploads throughout the 19-20 school year.
