This challenge is taken to the next level when trying to plan for continuous learning for our students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. I would like to provide you with some resources and strategies for continuous learning for our students. I will be providing a live webinar on Friday, March 27th at 10:00 am. I will share free resources available and appropriate for our students. I will also be sharing the information I receive from participating in two webinars hosted by Don Johnston next week: Supporting Students with Complex Needs at Home – Guidance for Teachers and Parents and How to Support Writing at Home for Students with Complex Needs – A Guide for Parents and Teachers.
Communication will occur via an online meeting platform using Adobe Connect. Participants will be asked to log in at http://ksde-tasn.adobeconnect.com/kansas_dlm_webinar/ to view materials and engage with presenters. There will be opportunities for questions and the webinar will be recorded for future reference or for those unable to attend. The meeting dates are posted below. After the meeting is completed, a link to the recording will be posted (webinar recording) and you can download the materials by clicking on the materials link.
