Course description

This professional development is to support teachers and staff that work in different Neglected and Delinquent facilities throughout the state of Kansas. KSDE staff members will present tailored sessions on classroom management, special education, specialized instruction, data collection, and transition services.

Data Collection

  • Understand the differences between Neglected and Delinquent programs.
  • Learn key Title I, Part D reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Explore effective transition planning and IPS practices.
  • Review dropout prevention and needs assessment expectations.
  • Identify allowable uses of Neglected or Delinquent funds.

Refund Policy

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
