The last three years have brought a surge of much need federal relief aid to Kansas school districts, but those new funds come with a variety of conditions and requirements that will all be monitored for compliance. The Kansas State Department of Education doesn't want any district in a situation where they must return these or any other federal funds, so please join us for the 2023 Kansas Federal Fiscal Forum.
Whether you are in the business office, a district administrator, or a federal programs coordinator, this forum includes information that you need to know. Sessions will address the most critical elements of Uniform Grant Guidance, EDGAR, GEPA, and the other requirements that are fundamental to all federal education programs in a way that is accessible to new staff and meaningful to veterans.
Attendees will also receive the most recent hardcopy of EDGAR rules and regulations, that you can tab and mark as our nationally recognized presenters point out the most relevant and commonly missed requirements that you need to be aware of. District ESSER, IDEA, and ESEA funds may be used to support staff participation in this professional development event.
