LEA Representative Responsibilities in IEP Process PowerPoint

This module is designed for building administrators who wish to learn more about the responsibilities of the LEA representative in the IEP process.  Before beginning this training, you will need to locate the handout for this module.

This is one part of a two-part training for those administrators who serve as the LEA Representative on IEP teams.  This training focuses on tools for the LEA Representative to carry out essential responsibilities in the IEP Process, especially for IEP meetings.

The other related training focuses on basic IEP requirements.  The powerpoint and handout for “IEP Basics for the LEA Representative” are located on the TASN website at www.ksdetasn.org under Resources.  You can determine the order for using both parts of the training, or choose to use only one, based on your needs and the amount of professional development time you have available.
