Tri-State Webinar: The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment Program – the VB­‐MAPP

Description:

This training will provide an overview of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment Program – the VB­‐MAPP. This training will include an overview of the four parts of the VB-­‐MAPP assessment and the Skills Tracking System. A basic review of scoring, administration and interpretation guidelines will be provided.

Learner Objectives:

  • The learner will be introduced to the areas assessed on the VB-MAPP including a brief overview of the verbal operants
  • The learner will become familiar with the components of the VB-MAPP manual and test protocol
  • The learner will become familiar with the scoring procedures used on the VB-MAPP

Presenter: 

Stacey Martin, B.S., MA With more than thirty years of experience working in the field of education, Stacey is a BCBA for Summit Behavioral Services where she leads their professional development team, provides programming support and consultation for Kansas City area school districts and supervises early intervention programs for 2-­‐7 year olds at the Summit Center for Child Development. Stacey has presented at many state conferences, trained educators across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska, and was the 2015 closing keynote speaker at the National Autism Conference at Penn State University.
