CEU Credits will not be issued for pre-recorded Sessions

This course is an overview of 3D printing- what it is, how to find pre-made models, software and websites for design, and examples of items created for assistive technology support and how they can be used to help students. Participants are taken through the sequence of where to start and how to proceed to a finished product.

This is a quick lesson Book Creator. Book Creator is used to foster communication and self-expression with students. The Book Creator app allows students to capture videos, add audio, and include text to share their passions and high interests in a meaningful way. By incorporating their favorite topics, students stay engaged while developing important digital literacy and storytelling skills. This video highlights how Book Creator can be a valuable tool for engaging students in high-interest activities while focusing on communication, creativity, language, and literacy.

This session is an engaging session exploring Universal Design for Learning (UDL) from the lens of a special education teacher that became a general education science teacher. Discover how UDL is embedded in daily instructional practices to support all learners.
Through real-world examples and practical strategies, we will examine how 1) Student agency is enhanced through choice and voice, 2) Student feedback, input and co-construction of goals and projects drive learning,  and 3) Clear, firm goals are set while maintaining flexible means for success. Whether you're a seasoned educator or new to UDL, this session will provide insights and strategies to create more inclusive and student-centered learning environments.

This session is designed to shift perspectives on goal writing, making the process more approachable and manageable. It introduces practical tools, including the DAGG3, to provide clear touchpoints and guidance for identifying meaningful, individualized goals for students. Emphasizing a strength-based approach, the session highlights strategies for building on students' existing skills to foster growth and success.
