Participants will learn how to access Google Chrome extensions to provide reading and writing supports to the user. Demonstrated will be a variety of options with time for hands on expereiences to learn how to tailor a user's own system. Participants will also learn about other assistive technology supports which are online, apps for iPads and stand-alone tools. Be prepared to learn about many assistive technology options to support your students and possibly you as well!
Participants will be able to:
- Define Chrome, Google, Extensions, Apps and how they work together.
- Identify extensions to support reading, writing and organization.
- Learn about accessible options and apps to support reading and writing on the iPad.
- Learn about other stand-alone Assistive Technology supports
Please bring a computer with Google Chrome Web Browser downloaded. Participants will need a google account and to know their google account password.
