Course description

This webinar provides information for parents and caregivers to help them understand what -- and how -- children with cerebral or cortical vision impairments (CVI), see. Dr. Dutton explains the visual process in layman’s terms, using illustrative examples for complex ophthalmologic concepts like field loss and contrast sensitivity. The presentation also offers strategies for supporting growing children with CVI as they learn to use their functional vision effectively.
