Description:  

Sarah will reaffirm your understanding of the core features of the 360 Thinking Executive Function Curriculum to develop Independent Executive Function Skills.  The seminar will then proceed to cover the practical aspects of implementation, and will go beyond the basics to provide new practical strategies for teaching in a remote learning environment.  Many useful resources, guides, and web-based learning tools for tele-instruction.  Help students to stay focused during remote instruction and engage in class activties, read-record-plan-complete-turn in remote assignments, manage digital distractions, transition between virtual classes and "power off" to self engage in non-digital tasks.  

Learning Objectives

Participants will: 

1. Define how forethought and mental spatial time travel are essential to effective task execution. 
2. List 3 tools that can be used to measurably increase student engagement during onlin instruction. 
3. Summarize online interventions to teach students how to independently record, complete, and submit in class and homework assignments.
