This webinar will introduce you to the Kansas Assistive Technology Guide.
The Kansas Assistive Technology Guide was created in response to a need expressed by Kansas school administrators and educators for high-quality examples of the processes that individual school districts and IEP teams can use to provide legal, effective, and ethical assistive technology (AT) services. Kansas Infinitec led the development of the guidance, which was approved by the Kansas State Department of Education SETS on March 5, 2024.
The Kansas Assistive Technology Guide can be tailored to local services. The guide is envisioned as a starting point for the development of a specific agency’s AT services. Any part of the guidelines can be copied or revised for use by an individual program or agency.
