Course description

The Co-teaching Coaches' Training is one component of the TASN Co-teaching Training and Coaching System. This event is open to individuals who are available to provide coaching and on-going support to co-teachers in their district. Participants attending this event should have already completed the Initial Co-teaching Training. Materials are provided.

 Approved for 6.0 hours of continuing education clock hours for Kansas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.

Learning Objectives

Our Learning Intention:

We are learning about the roles and responsibilities of being a Co-Teaching Coach.

 

Success Criteria:

We will know we are successful when we can:

  • Explain the expectations and impacts of coaching.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the 4 co-teaching approaches.
  • Select an appropriate tool to support co-teaching teams.
  • Explain the concepts and components of the Instructional Observation Form. 
  • Evaluate a Coaching Conversation.

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
