Course description

Dr. Lauren Leiberman will present a training on fitness and movement for Students with visual impairments on April 5th at Mid America Nazarene University.

She will teach on such topics as:

Inclusion of students with Sensory Impairments into PE, including assessment, eligibility and placement.

Increasing Balance, Fitness and Motor Skills

Instructional Strategies for Sport and Physical Activities including modifications, tactile teaching, communication, use of support staff

After School Sports and Sports Camps

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
