The emotion networks of the brain play a large role in learning and engagement. Allison Posey's book, Engage the Brain, explores this relationship and gives real-world examples along with practical advice that can be applied in all classrooms and all content areas.
The first 30 registrants will receive a digital copy of the book, Engage the Brain. Active participation is required.
This book study will meet via Zoom to kick off the event and then continue asynchronously. Details about the asynchronous format will be covered in the initial Zoom meeting. This meeting will be recorded for those who cannot attend, but would still like to participate.
