Engage the Brain Book

The brain's emotion networks play a large role in learning and engagement. Engage the Brain: How to Design for Learning That Taps into the Power of Emotion explores this relationship and gives real-world examples and practical advice that can be applied in all classrooms and content areas. Hear more about Engage the Brain from author Allison Posey.

This book study will meet via Zoom to kick off the event and then continue asynchronously with monthly interactions on the book's essential questions. The initial Zoom meeting will cover details about the asynchronous format. The September 10, 2024 kick-off meeting will be recorded for those who cannot attend but would still like to participate.

Mark your calendars for the live midpoint check-in on October 29th and the live wrap-up on December 17th. These live sessions are crucial for a comprehensive understanding of the book's content.

The first 30 registrants will receive a digital copy of the book, Engage the Brain. Active participation is required.

Approved for 6 hours of continuing education clock hours for Kansas-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
