Course description

 

Teaching, practicing, modeling, and encouraging essential personal life habits that are universally understood as making people good human beings and citizens is a Kansans Can outcome. Learn to support social competencies for all students by using a process that includes assessment, planning, and implementing evidence-based strategies at school, at home, and in the community.  Explore what other Kansas educators are doing to support social competencies from early childhood to adulthood. 

This is a two day training.  If you register for day one you must also register for day two (elementary) on January 11 or day three on January 12 (secondary).  

This training is approved for 6.5 continuing education clock hours for Kansas licensed Speech/Language Pathologists by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
