The KSDE Regional Math Training events are a fantastic professional development opportunity for math educators and administrators in Kansas!

Topics to be covered:

  • General Session for All: 2017 Mathematics Standards and Power of Mathematical Growth Mindset
  • Administrator Session: Introduction to the Mathematics Teaching Practices (High Leverage Teacher Actions), Curriculum Selection Process, and Shaping Formative Math Assessments to Work for You
  • Elementary Session: Building Procedural Fluency from Conceptual Understanding in the areas of: Fractions and Geometry
  • MS/HS Session: Building Procedural Fluency from Conceptual Understanding in the areas of: Expressions and Equations
