We’d like to invite you to join us for the AIT Booster Series Discussion over the CAPS. This is not a mandatory meeting.
The CAPS helps educational staff to optimize a students with autism and complex need's daily program in a way that incoporates needed supports. (Aspy & Grossman, 2007). The CAPS can be used with students from preschool to college age and with students with all cognitive levels. This tool allows IEP teams to move from IEP development to programming a student's day and incorporates all of the intricacies that occur within the school day.
Prior to participating in this discussion, participants are expected to watch the 1 hour CAPS Webinar on the TASN ATBS Moodle site.

After viewing the CAPS webinar, join us for a virtual discussion on January 12 from 3:30 to 4:30 to ask lingering questions regarding implementation of the CAPS, discuss barriers to implementation, and how using the CAPS will improve student programming.
