Course description

Discipline and lack of motivation are two of the most challenging problems facing today's teachers. Discipline in the Secondary Classroom gives teachers step-by-step guidance for designing a classroom management plan that will help prevent misbehavior and increase student motivation. Topics covered will include: key concepts about managing student behavior; grading; organization; expectations; rules and consequences; motivation; implementation; and proactive planning for chronic misbehavior. Discipline in the Secondary Classroom is a product of Safe and Civil Schools.
