Course description

Check in begins at 8:00am in the KSSB Library.

We will have a working lunch. Please bring your own lunch OR there will be an option to purchase Chipotle as a group order. Refrigerators and microwaves available.

Free parking is available on our campus. Please enter the main gate on 10th street and drive straight back to the parking lot nearest the library OR enter the east gate and park in a nearby spot. We will be there to direct you if you are unfamiliar with our campus. 

Learning Objectives

 

1. Identify three unique needs for students who have both a visual impairment and additional severe disabilities

2. Describe the four steps involved in the assessment process for students in the sensorimotor stage of development. 

3. Identify three assessment tools for students who have both a visual impairment and additional severe disabilities

4. Demonstrate a unique instructional strategy for students who have both a visual impairment and additional severe disabilities.

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
