This presentation focuses on using structured coaching conversations to support teachers in developing and implementing IMPACT goals, a teacher-developed goal-setting framework described by Gavoni and Weatherly (2024). Participants will review the components of an IMPACT goal and explore how this approach supports clarity, alignment, and follow-through in classroom practice. Using a coaching conversation model developed by TASN Autism and Tertiary Behavior Supports, the session emphasizes collaborative dialogue, guided practice, and reflection while maintaining the teacher as the primary agent of change.
