Boardmaker Plus V. 6 - Basics and More

Course description

If you have heard about Boardmaker or visual supports but have never had the opportunity to learn how to create them, this training is for you. The morning will cover the bare basics of Boardmaker. In the afternoon you will be introduced to Boardmaker Online and how to download activates as well on how to modify ready-made activities. Participants will also learn how to create multiple pages.

Participants will learn: 

• About the basic menu options for Boardmaker
• How to create visual supports for diverse populations
• How to create and modify multiple pages 
• How to use the features of Boardmaker Online and modify readymade boards

Participants need to bring: Computer, Boardmaker V6; if you do not have the Boardmaker software, come at 8:00 am so a demo can be loaded on your computer. A left and right click mouse is helpful.  

Cost

$15 lunch included for KIC and NKESC members

$25 lunch included for non-KIC and non-NKESC members
