About the Access for ALL PLC

Access for ALL PLC is an interactive training focused on integrating technology within Universal Design for Learning educational framework within an inclusive classroom.  Anyone is welcome to participate in the PLC training, if you would like to have a team participate in the PLC with coaching support, please contact Cindy Malone at cmalone@ucpnet.org.  See the Access for ALL PLC Description document for more information about the overall structure, goals and objectives, and timeline.

  • Understand how UDL Framework can support equity and inclusion
  • Analyse and identify examples of equity in practice 
  • Create opportunities to collaborate and design for more equitable experiences across your school

Learning Objectives

SESSION LEARNING TARGETS:

This session’s goal is to learn about designing lessons and the educational experience with equity in mind using a UDL lens. 

The learning targets include: 

  • Understand how UDL Framework can support equity and inclusion
  • Analyse and identify examples of equity in practice 
  • Create opportunities to collaborate and design for more equitable experiences across your school 

 

PROJECT LEARNING TARGETS: 

  • Learn about and understand the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Framework 
  • Evaluate universal support tools to extend and enhance UDL implementation 
  • Create UDL lessons and activities to integrate the 3 principles of UDL in classroom settings 
  • Engage Students in the language and purpose of UDL
