Today’s Occupations, Tomorrow’s Opportunities (T.O.T.O.) is the Kansas Department of Labor’s (KDOL) new career exploration and planning website with a Kansas focus. We’ll introduce you to the core components of T.O.T.O. and show you how to put them to use in the classroom with your students.
- Wizard of Jobs – a lifestyle budgeting calculator designed to help students understand the salary required to support the lifestyle they want to live.
- Virtual Career Center (VCC) – an application that provides students with the resources and tools they need to manage each stage of their career development. VCC contains four modules for students to complete: career exploration, education & training, gain experience, and the job search. It also provides students with a dashboard to track their progress.
- Student and Facilitator Resources – worksheets and guides that can be used right alongside the VCC, Kansas Career Posters, Occupational Guides, High Demand Occupation Lists, and more…
Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
