Making Math Engaging through Math Practices

Math is more than just content. Math is about doing! It’s about making sense, thinking, and communicating. To realize this, students must be engaged. This webinar highlights practical and doable instructional practices for making math while reinforcing the math practices embedded in every curriculum at every grade level. A collection of classroom-ready resources will be shared.

Using the Mathematical Practices Effectively in the Classroom

As you prepare for the session with John SanGiovanni, read his article about using the mathematical practices in the classroom. Note the similarities in the Practices and the UDL Framework.
