Course description

This training is designed to provide an understanding of the Ages and Stages Questionnaires ASQ:3 and ASQ:SE-2 and how to effectively partner with families to complete developmental screenings, interpret results, and utilize the results to make decisions. The training incorporates a family study, role playing conversations with caregivers, and exercises on interpreting scores. There is also a brief overview of ASQ Online. This training is designed for school districts but all are welcome.

This training will not be recorded. You will need to attend the live virtual training.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe features of ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2
  • Understand the importance of developmental screening
  • Review guidelines for introducing the screenings to caregivers
  • Describe and interpret scores
  • Discuss appropriate follow-up and referrals with caregivers

Registration may be cancelled up to 14 days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will not be refunded. No-show registrations will also not be refunded.
