This series of learning sessions has been designed by the Quaglia Institute in partnership with the Kansas Technical Assistance System Network (TASN) as part of their Multi-Tier Systems of Supports (MTSS) and Alignment efforts. Intentional connections have been made with the Kansas State Board of Education goals, as well as the core principles of the Kansas Social, Emotional, and Character Development Model Standards. The goal is to increase knowledge of the importance of Student Voice & Aspirations for student engagement, wellbeing, and academic achievement. Student voice is correlated with higher achievement on Kansas state ELA and Math assessments, as well as with lower dropout rates. Therefore, school teams will be supported in their implementation efforts as a part of this learning series in order to amplify Student Voice & Aspirations so all students can reach their fullest potential.
