Join Kansas educators and related service providers working individually or in transition teams to collaborate and demonstrate understanding and implementation of transition services that support postsecondary outcomes. Participants will learn how to identify, explore and access community supports and, with a student in mind, will create an implementation plan that links student education, family engagement and community supports. Teachers, transition specialists and coordinators, administrators, parents, related service providers, and paraprofessional staff are encouraged to attend.
Pre-training assignment:
Choose and review one of the “Additional Resources” on the Guiding Educators to Access Community Supports page on the TASN ATBS website and be prepared to share 1 to 2 new insights.
