Emergency Safety Interventions

Emergency safety intervention law requires that when an emergency safety intervention is used with a child, the school must notify the parent within the time frame and in the manner specified in the law. A parent may designate a preferred method of contact to receive same-day incident notification, agree to receive only one same-day notification, or request to receive certain information by email. This is a template that schools may choose to use to document any of these three parent options.
