Autism and Tertiary Behavior Supports
This activity elicits eye contact and vocalization from the child in coordination with his or her pointing or reaching in order to direct your attention or that of the parent/caregiver to a distant object. An opportunity for requesting activation of the bubble toy and/or access to the bubbles is also offered. Unusual sensory behaviors or movements are sometimes elicited in this activity, as well as facial expressions and shared enjoyment.
