DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nThe goal of the High Quality Instruction within 
 Inclusive Learning Environments project is to increase access to general e
 ducation curriculum for all learners through the collaborative integration
  of technology in inclusive environments by providing structured\, ongoing
  professional learning and development systems. This combined interactive 
 training/meeting aims to increase capacity through supporting connections 
 across Assistive Technology\, Universal Design for Learning\, and Co-Teach
 ing project strands. In the morning\, we will spend our time learning and 
 networking together to further the mission. The afternoon will be reserved
  for indepth learning in specific strand areas.&nbsp\;\n\nDetails\n\n10am

 istive Technology Guidance for School Districts\n\nKansas Assistive Techno
 logy Guidance for School Districts was created in response to a need expre
 ssed by many of Kansas’ school administrators and educators for high qua
 lity examples of the processes that individual school districts and IEP te
 ams can use to provide legal\, effective and ethical assistive technology 
 (AT) services. The guide is envisioned as a starting point for the develop
 ment of a specific agency’s AT services. Any part of these guidelines ma
 y be copied or revised for use by an individual program or agency.&nbsp\;&
 nbsp\;\n\nAssistive technology leaders will\n\n\n	review sections of the K
 ansas Assistive Technology Guidance for School Districts&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n	a
 nalyze key procedures for IEP teams to include when considering assistive 
 technology for students&nbsp\;\n	design an action plan integrating targete
 d procedure from Kansas Assistive Technology Guidance for School Districts
 &nbsp\;\n\n\n1pm - 3pm - Co-Teaching Coaches Calibration Conversation\n\nC
 o-Teaching coaches will review the updated Observation form and provide in
 put to operational definitions. The calibration conversation will help ens
 ure training adherence to the “key ingredients” and increase the likel
 ihood of interater reliability.&nbsp\;\n
