 sans are demanding higher levels of academic and cognitive preparation\, b
 etter technical and employability skills\, and students who are civically 
 engaged before leaving high school. This new vision for education calls fo
 r a more student-focused approach that provides support and resources for 
 individual success and will require collaboration not just among educators
  but also among communities and local businesses. It is time to commit our
 selves to the task of giving kids all of the tools they need to be success
 ful.&nbsp\; &nbsp\;\n\n\nThe theme for this year’s Impact Institutes is 
 “Kansans CAN Discover.” Please join us at the Kansas State Department 
 of Education Division of Learning Services 2019 Impact Institutes and begi
 n the challenging work of each child’s success. Kansas teachers\, counse
 lors\, principals\, curriculum coordinators\, instructional coaches\, and 
 educational professionals at all levels (birth through high school) will h
 ave the opportunity to select sessions and workshops on topics connected t
 o many academic areas. These workshops will provide the help you need in p
 roviding our students the academic and cognitive preparation\, the technic
 al and employability skills\, and the civic engagement opportunities to al
 low them to be successful.\n
