DESCRIPTION:Executive Function Skills are an important part of our daily li
ves but often are not center stage within the curriculum we focus on with
students. The book&nbsp\;Supporting Student Executive Functions\, Insights
and Strategies for Educators\, by Lisa Carey and Alexis Reid\,&nbsp\;expl
ains how these skills develop\, how executive functioning challenges show
up in the classroom\, and how\, if unaddressed\, those challenges interfer
e with student learning. In May\, chapter 10 will be covered.&nbsp\;We wil
l meet from&nbsp\;3:30-4:15 once a month to discuss the key takeaways from
each chapter\, specifically looking at how you can implement executive fu
nction skills in the classroom. Join with your team members\, or participa
te on your own. The first 30 people to register will receive a free digita
 l copy of the book.
