 ess can add educational barriers that housed students may not face. &nbsp\
 ;Under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)\, students experi
 encing homelessness are automatically eligible for Title I\, part A servic
 es even if they do not attend a TItle I\, part A school or meet the academ
 ic standards required of other students for eligibility (ESEA section 1115
 (c)(2)(E). Title I\, part A requires school districts set aside Title I fu
 nds sufficient to serve identified students experiencing homelessness in s
 choolwide or targeted assistance buildings. In this 60-minute session\, we
  will briefly review the definition of homelessness as stated in the McKin
 ney-Vento act\, the requirements of the Title IA set aside funds for stude
 nts experiencing homelessness\, the allowable uses of these funds\, and be
 st practice formulas for the calculation. &nbsp\;
