 Kansas educators working in transition teams to collaborate and demonstrat
 e understanding and implementation of the components of high quality trans
 ition program &amp\; services that support postsecondary outcomes.&nbsp\;A
 ll members of transition teams are encouraged to attend – elementary\, m
 iddle\, high school and postsecondary teachers\, transition specialists an
 d coordinators\, administrators\, parents\, related service providers\, an
 d paraprofessional staff.Topics include assessment\, student-directed plan
 ning\, family engagement\, academic content\, employment and career develo
 pment\, independent living and inclusion in the community. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;D
 uring this professional development opportunity\, participants are require
 d to complete all of the following components --&nbsp\;1. Participate in a
  monthly hour-long study session using a virtual platform on the first Thu
 rsday of each month from September through April at&nbsp\; 8:00-9:00 AM OR
 &nbsp\;3:30-4:30 PM.&nbsp\; We ask that you commit to either AM or PM and 
 then if something unplanned comes up\, you will have the flexibility to at
 tend the other session that day.Required monthly session dates:&nbsp\;Thur

 \, 2024Thursday\, December 5\, 2024Thursday\, February 6\, 2025Thursday\,

  training days (January 15 &amp\; 16 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)&nbsp\;where p
 articipants will collaborate and reflect regarding implementation and outc
 omes3. Read monthly assignments from Morningstar &amp\; Clavenna-Deane (20
 18) Your Complete Guide to Transition Planning &amp\; Services&nbsp\;(Note
 : book will be provided by TASN ATBS)4. Communicate virtually or via email
  each month with a TASN ATBS coach to facilitate classroom implementation5
 . Complete monthly implementation assignments and share results and reflec
 tions relating to implementation during the required monthly virtual sessi
 on6. Document outcomes of transition planning and programming as it relate
 s to a student or group of students&nbsp\;Thank you for your interest in o
