  transition teams to collaborate and demonstrate understanding and impleme
 ntation of the components of high quality transition program &amp\; servic
 es that support postsecondary outcomes.&nbsp\;All members of transition te
 ams are encouraged to attend – elementary\, middle\, high school and pos
 tsecondary teachers\, transition specialists and coordinators\, administra
 tors\, parents\, related service providers\, and paraprofessional staff.\n
 \nTopics include assessment\, student-directed planning\, family engagemen
 t\, academic content\, employment and career development\, independent liv
 ing and inclusion in the community. &nbsp\;\n\nDuring this professional de
 velopment opportunity\, participants are required to complete all of the f
 ollowing components --&nbsp\;\n\n1. Participate in a monthly hour-long stu
 dy session using a virtual platform on the first Thursday of each month fr
 om September through April at&nbsp\; 8:00-9:00 AM OR 4:00-5:00 PM.&nbsp\; 
 We ask that you commit to either AM or PM and then if something unplanned 
 comes up\, you will have the flexibility to attend the other session that 
 day.\n\nRequired monthly session dates:&nbsp\;\n\n\n	Thursday\, September 
 7\, 2023\n	Thursday\, October 5\, 2023\n	Thursday\, November 2\, 2023\n	Th
 ursday\, December 7\, 2023\n	Thursday\, February 1\, 2024\n	Thursday\, Mar
 ch 7\, 2024\n	Thursday\, April 4\, 2024\n\n\n2. Participate in two&nbsp\;v
 irtual training days (January 17 &amp\; 18 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM)&nbsp\;w
 here participants will collaborate and reflect regarding implementation an
 d outcomes\n\n3. Read monthly assignments from Morningstar &amp\; Clavenna
 -Deane (2018) Your Complete Guide to Transition Planning &amp\; Services&n
 bsp\;(Note: book will be provided by TASN ATBS)\n\n4. Communicate virtuall
 y or via email each month with a TASN ATBS coach to facilitate classroom i
 mplementation\n\n5. Complete monthly implementation assignments and share 
 results and reflection relating to implementation during the required mont
 hly virtual session\n\n6. Document outcomes of transition planning and pro
 gramming as it relates to a student or group of students\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nTha
